We are pleased to announce the release of the PatSeq tracks in the UCSC Genome Browser. These tracks contain shared data from the PatSeq database and as mapped to the human (hg19), mouse (mm10), and Ebola virus (eboVir3) genomes. They are coloured based on where the sequence appears in the patent document following a similar colour scheme to that used in PatSeq tools. Detailed pages contain patent titles with links to the actual patent documents in the Lens.
Arrangement of the PatSeq data is though somehow different. It is divided into two tracks; 1) it includes those sequences that were submitted in bulk patents -containing 100 or more sequences -and 2) it contains all other remaining sequences.Thank you to Max Haeussler and Matthew Speir and any other member of the UCSC Genome Browser team, for their efforts in creating these tracks and making it available to the public.
